![]() ![]() Workers were yelling out to those at the window, "Take you picture and move to the back!" Views were great but they have many issues to work through.Įxtremely crowded during all sunset time slots (this was January, less crowded season), so much so that you cannot get to the window to see the sunset. We will definitely not go back and I would highly recommend exploring other opportunities for seeing the NYC skyline. Apparently they have no issue with cramming as many people as they can into the experience at the expense of a well organized and efficient event. After all of this you have to navigate the crowds to get any pictures and wait in a maze line for the elevator back down. We finally arrived at the top 1 hour and 30 minutes after our reserved time needless to say we did not see the sunset. We continued to stand in lines to get through security, corralled into a 2 minute video area, forced to have our picture taken for later purchase, required to submit a face scan (no idea why) and then additional time waiting for the elevator. The whole queuing experience was a logistics nightmare with no communication between the staff. Another staff member started another line and told us to turn around and join the end of the line instead of maintaining our place at the front. We arrived 15 minutes prior to our entry time (which we paid extra for sunset) and were directed by one staff member to stand off to the side. The prepaid, timed entry ticket you buy in advance is meaningless. Unique experience and the views and photo opportunities were amazing.that's the only good thing I can say. Might even go back during the day.īTW, do not use the escalators, use the stairs after you enter the front door. On the last floor, you can also walk on the outside. There are two more floors after the first, but it’s not as interesting, one area have silver balloons, one area has a glass floor where you can look all the way down and the last floor has a wall of clouds, it was supposed to show your face in the clouds, but it doesn’t really work. We went at night and it’s pitch dark, which makes the illusions even more interesting. ![]() ![]() There are three levels for you to explore, but once you step inside thefirst floor, you’ll be amazed with the optical illusions, like you are in a super tall structure looking down and up. You don’t even realize you are going up until your ears starts to pop. It’s a rip-off, we have to wait over an hour and it just takes you up and brings you down from the side of the building, skip it.īut the whole experience is awesome, starting with the elevator ride that takes you to the 91 floor, the whole elevator is cover with mirrors and flashing lights. But figure why not.īoy, it was well worth it, but skip the Decent elevator ride at the end. Wanted to do something different for Christmas Eve, a little reluctant at first, price jump to $70 per person. ![]()
